Observation

Licensors observed several classrooms that have window blinds with pull cords and inner cords that are capable of forming a loop. Room #4 has several hooks on the bottom frame that prevents the blinds coming up and pull cord down; demonstrated by staff. Room #3 window near the handwashing sink was also observed by licensors, this window does not have hooks to hold down blinds if pull cord are pulled down. Director communicated the plan to follow up with licensor regarding corrections for window blinds. Licensor observed empty plastic bags in a drawer at child level in room #1, accessible to children; removed by center staff while licensor was on site
